what we do
We work with individuals or groups who are interested in breathing training and how it can enhance performance within their field.
This is achieved through education, individualised assessment and specific, goal-focussed training programs.
Some examples include:
Respiratory muscle training - Think strength training for your breathing muscles.
Hypoxic (low O2) /hypercapnic (high CO2) training - Think climbing Mt Everest in your living room.
Dynamic CO2 tolerance training
What to expect
We offer 1:1, small group and team based education and training.
First we establish what you’re having trouble with or want to improve on.
Next we assess specific aspects of breathing to obtain baseline measures of capacity.
We then align these findings with your goals to create a training program that is both specific to your needs and reflective of the demands of your sport or profession.
Throughout the training period we meet semi-regularly to re-assess and track your progress. From here we will usually increase the intensity of your training to encourage adaptations or will make any modifications needed to ensure the best outcomes.
